Antti Tauriainen
CEO & Managing Director
With a background in international sales and business relations, I hold a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Oulu, with a technical specialization in medical measurements. My “jack of all trades” education has served me well in taking on diverse responsibilities across finance, administration, sales, project management, and technical leadership. In a constantly changing marketplace, there’s always something new to learn.
I have been the face of the company for over a decade as CEO, leading its transformation from a domestic industrial specialist into an international medical expert. I aim to build strong, lasting relationships with partners and customers through candor, honesty, and commitment to creating constructive foundations for all stakeholders.
What drives me is a happy customer, successful projects, growth and strong stakeholder relationships.
Mikko Paakkolanvaara
CTO
I have a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Biomechanical Engineering from the University of Oulu. My professional career has been closely connected to electronics production and product development since 2005. Before joining Screentec in August 2018, I worked at Aspocomp Oyj’s PCB factory in various product and production-related management positions. I also gained valuable experience at VTT Technology Research Centre of Finland as Senior Scientist and Team Leader in the Printed Electronics Pilot Factory. Additionally, I worked as a Production Manager for Printed Electronics manufacturing at Thinfilm Electronics AB in Linköping, Sweden.
I’ve always had a deep interest in different types of equipment, which has allowed me to gain both theoretical and hands-on expertise. I enjoy challenging the limitations of current capabilities to find innovative solutions for customer needs.
What motivates me the most is tackling new challenges and developing new products in collaboration with our customers.
Petri Huhti
Production Director
I have a Master of Science in Technology, specializing in Industrial Engineering and Management. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience in various roles, including Plant Manager and Managing Director, primarily within the manufacturing industry. My background includes five years of experience in mass production of medical devices such as syringes and inhalers, working in ISO 13485-certified environments. I’ve also spent 13 years working with global TOP20 pharmaceutical customers, which has broadened my understanding of complex production needs.
I bring expertise in greenfield factory projects and production ramp-ups, having successfully led several projects in Poland. Additionally, I’ve held multiple board member roles in the manufacturing industry, both in Finland, China, and Poland.
The best part of my role is the opportunity to help our key customers improve their business. When they succeed, we all win.
Jaana Kananen
Quality Manager
I graduated with a M.Sc. in Process Engineering from the University of Oulu in 1996. I am a hands-on engineer with long experience in tasks related to quality and product development. Over the years, I have worked to improve the quality of products in development projects as well as company operations through quality systems. I have actively expanded my competence through project management and auditing training.
My experience with SMEs and quality management systems based on ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 standards has provided me with expertise and confidence to develop Screentec’s quality system. Thanks to this work, Screentec has successfully demonstrated compliance with standardized requirements during external audits by both certification bodies and customers.
The best part of my work is coming together around the same table to reflect on new challenges and finding solutions as a team.

Liisa Seluska
Project and Customer Manager, Diagnostics and Health
I work as a Project and Customer Manager at Screentec, specializing in diagnostics and health solutions. I graduated in 2022 from Aalto University with a M.Sc. in Life Science Technology, majoring in Biosensing and Bioelectronics. My previous profession as a practical nurse, working with both children and the elderly, has given me a broad perspective on the real-world need for diagnostic innovations.
What motivates me most is the opportunity to be part of versatile projects, continuous development, and inspiring ideas. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how an initial idea can grow into a functional product.
Maija Piirainen
Production Supervisor, Industry
I’ve been working at Screentec for 5 years, starting out as a production operator. This position gave me the chance to learn deeply about product manufacturing techniques and the entire production process, from the drawing stage to the final product. To support my work, I’ve also pursued studies in mechanical engineering and commerce. My previous experience in retail and as an entrepreneur has provided a good foundation for my current role.
The best part of my job is the work community. I’m fortunate to work with a skilled team, and it’s rewarding to see how well we collaborate. The support we give each other is reflected in the smoothness of production and the positive atmosphere we have. It feels great to be part of a group that cares for one another, laughs together and faces challenges as a team.
Laura Kallo
Sales and Marketing Representative
I graduated in spring 2025 with an MBA in Business Development from Oulu University of Applied Sciences. I also have a vocational qualification in marketing communications with a focus on visual marketing. Throughout my career, I have worked in commerce and customer service, which has given me a solid foundation to succeed in my current role.
My strength is in combining creative and analytical thinking, and I’m motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the company’s success. I execute projects that strengthen our market presence through strategic brand development and targeted content across various platforms.
The most rewarding part of my work is participating in meaningful development projects and creating value by ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Jani Sutinen
Process Engineer / Project Manager
I work as a Process Engineer and Project Manager at Screentec, focusing on leading production transfer projects. I have several years of experience in various manufacturing roles, particularly in production and supply chain management within the IoT device industry. This experience has provided me with strong skills in managing complex projects and ensuring efficient production ramp-ups. My educational background is a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology and Telecommunications, specializing in Measurement and Testing Systems.
What motivates me most is seeing the results of completed projects and finding ways to enhance processes to achieve better outcomes in production.
