Screentec’s NPI engineer Ms. Jenni Isotalo has finalized her studies for Heatlh Science at the University of Oulu.
Topic of her Master’s thesis is: The effect of flexible substrates and hydrogels to inner impedance of the ECG electrode.
The aim of the thesis was to investigate the effect of different substrates and hydrogels to inner impedance of the printed ECG electrodes. In this study suitable materials and process conditions were identified to manufacture excellent ECG electrodes. The study results will be used in Screentec’s quality management and in customer projects to support the product development of customers’ medical electrodes.
